Announcing; The Other Art Fair Chicago!!
I’m thrilled to announce my next show for 2021 will be in Chicago, exhibiting with The Other Art Fair. The fair will open on the 30th of September and runs through the evening of October 3rd.
Where I’m showing; Revel Fulton Market! This is a new venue for the Fair, but it looks pretty sweet. Booth numbers will be announced soon!
What I’m showing; NEW THINGS! I’ll be bringing a collection of work that stemmed from my experiments in lock-down; pared down materials, repetition of marks, contours inspired by my studio surroundings. I’ll have a few sneak peeks up on my instagram, so make sure to follow along to see the process.
COVID Precautions; Thus far it looks like there will be timed entries and mask requirements regardless of vaccination status (except at the outdoor bar)- so I’m feeling pretty good about my decision to attend.
I’ll have some codes for free entry to share soon, so if you’d like to attend make sure you’re on my email list for the code announcement!

A Change in Plans....
I’m so sorry to say that I have made the incredibly difficult decision to step back from the York Winter Art Fair this weekend. With the Covid 19 numbers going up locally as they are - I’m just going to be too nervous to be a successful vendor this weekend. I love meeting and talking with you all and I’ll be too wrapped up in my head to do that well.
I know the team over at York and StudioStudio will do an amazing job of keeping everyone safe, I just need to sit this one out for my own mental health.

Holiday Updates
Happy December everyone!
Just thought I’d pop in with a few holiday updates:
SHIPPING:
Due to a HUGE influx of packages FedEx and USPS are both recommending all non-rush orders are shipped by December 11th. If you’re looking to pay the regular shipping fee, then definitely make sure you have your art in your cart before then.
SHOWS:
November 30th-December 30th: I’ve got two pieces in a group show at David Jones Gallery out in Kansas City, MO. I unfortunately won’t be in attendance (limiting travel) but I’m sure it will be a great event.
December 4th-December 6th: I am so excited to be participating in York Ann Arbor/StudioStudio Winter Art Fair. It will be outside, masked and distanced and I have great faith in the team over there to provide a safe environment for the attendee and the artists. I’ll have prints (and originals weather permitting) If you’re local this is a great chance to pick up an original without having to worry about shipping! Send me a message if there’s a specific piece you are interested in and I’ll make sure to put it in the lineup of work to bring.

9 new paintings are launching on RedDot Culture tomorrow! (Friday, November 13th).
The Moirai series (10 x 10 acrylic on canvas framed in Maple), Emergence 1 and 2 (acrylic on paper 18 x 24) and Layer Studies 1,2,3 and 4 (9 x 12 acrylic on paper).

This collection was a exploration of new marks, of fully dried layers. Instead of using the contour drawings as the basis of a painting and made in graphite, these works explore the contour drawing as paint, fully dried and layered on top of the piece. The paper pieces will ship rolled, perfect for framing. The Moirai series is framed in beautiful white floating frames and will ship in padded boxes.

Coming Soon; Studio Clear Out Sale!
I started planning this sale back in April when it was beginning to be apparent that a move to California was on the horizon. I envisioned it as a last hurrah in my studio, pulling out old, new and never released work to be sold before packing our lives into moving boxes and starting our cross-country drive.
As much fun as all that chaos sounds, I am grateful for a few more months to slowly organize and pack, and the chance to still hold the sale - but on a much less rigid schedule.
I’ve been slowly categorizing, photographing and organizing work for the past few weeks, and should be able to announce the start of the sale sometime in July.
