Holiday Updates
Happy December everyone!
Just thought I’d pop in with a few holiday updates:
SHIPPING:
Due to a HUGE influx of packages FedEx and USPS are both recommending all non-rush orders are shipped by December 11th. If you’re looking to pay the regular shipping fee, then definitely make sure you have your art in your cart before then.
SHOWS:
November 30th-December 30th: I’ve got two pieces in a group show at David Jones Gallery out in Kansas City, MO. I unfortunately won’t be in attendance (limiting travel) but I’m sure it will be a great event.
December 4th-December 6th: I am so excited to be participating in York Ann Arbor/StudioStudio Winter Art Fair. It will be outside, masked and distanced and I have great faith in the team over there to provide a safe environment for the attendee and the artists. I’ll have prints (and originals weather permitting) If you’re local this is a great chance to pick up an original without having to worry about shipping! Send me a message if there’s a specific piece you are interested in and I’ll make sure to put it in the lineup of work to bring.
In other news the new site launch is *ahem* a bit delayed. But it’s coming. Soon. Slowly. To pick up new work that’s not on my site check out Jenner McGinn Studios and RedDot Culture. (and follow them on social media so you don’t miss out on sales!)
Holiday Shopping Announcements - 2019
How is it possibly that time of year already??
Regardless, it’s here. Warm drinks, fuzzy blankets, family chaos and a non-meat turkey await me this weekend, but also, probably a bit of shopping.
Here’s what is going on at my shop for the weekend;
November 27th-Dec 2nd: FREE DOMESTIC SHIPPING! No code needed, if you’re shipping to an address within the continental US, your shipping fee will be refunded. Doesn’t matter if it is a print, or an original, in a tiny envelope or a huge box!
November 27th - Dec 8th: 15% of every order will be donated to the Huron Valley Human Society, the shelter that brought us together with our most wonderful little puppy. They do incredible work for animals, and I am forever grateful to them!
I’ll have new work on view at Ann Arbor Distilling Co for whole month of December, so if you’re planning a little in-person shopping make sure to stop by! (More info coming soon)
Stay warm!
Happiest of Holidays! Studio is on Break <3
Hi friends! Just a little note to say that I’ll be taking more time off this year for the holidays and thus will be changing the schedule around a bit. Don’t fret, there’s still plenty of time to order before the holidays, this will just serve as an overall PSA for time line purposes <3
Here are the changes:
Commissions:
Closed until January 7th (but feel free to send me a message if you have a project in mind and I can give you more info on scheduling for 2019!)
Shipping:
Orders placed during the week will ship out on that Friday morning. I usually ship between 24-48 hours of payment clearing, but spent so much last year going back and forth to the post office that I missed out on a lot of time with family in from out of town. I can still process rush orders if need-be, so leave me a note when checking out if that’s something you require.
Full Studio Shut-Down:
First time ever! I’m actually fully closing up shop from December 22nd - January 7th. No studio assistant to help while we’re away, or weekly check-ins… this artist is taking some real time off to be with her family. (I’m actually going to set an out-of-office/studio email!)
I really hope these adjusted hours/schedules don’t put anyone in a bind to get art - but I cannot tell you how much I’m looking forward to spending some real time with family this year. I absolutely love what I do and I am so, so grateful to everyone who has purchased, encouraged and supported me in my career, thank you all for helping this to happen.
Wishing you all a warm and wonderful holiday season <3
A Sunday Pop-up!
I was over at West Elm at the Midtown shops on Sunday (11/6) and it was a blast! Aside from meeting old/new customers (which I love) I also did a bit of sketching, answered some fun questions on snapchat and brainstormed with a few potential clients on custom pieces.
Also I love poking around West Elm, it's SUCH a beautiful store. It was hard not to turn around and spend the money made on the sale on items in the store... but alas, I have canvases to buy ;)
Hand Made Pop-Up Shop!
Super excited to share that I'll be selling 5 new limited edition prints via the Hand Made Pop-Up this year, November 4th - 6th!
The 8.5 x 11 inch prints are all part of my Lesser Moons of Jupiter series, each abstract work inspired by some of the smaller celestial bodies orbiting the planet.
Adrastea, Amalthea, Thebe, Himalia and Lysithea will be available for purchase starting the 4th via the Handmade Pop-Up site.
Here's a little sneak peek until then :
