Making the Puzzle Pieces

I’m starting to make the work for the spring edition of The Other Art Fair in Chicago, using sketches from California, northern Ohio and a smattering of locations around Michigan. This collection is rooted in environment; in color studies made from sunsets and pencil drawings made of sandstone formations - fragments of the natural world reassembled.

I’ll have more information on the fair coming shortly. It will be held at Artifact Events in Ravenswood again this year and I am so looking forward to it.
